Childrens eye examinations are free under the NHS schemes and therefore it is always advisable for regular eye tests to ensure good eye developement and sight during school.
Examinations are Free up until the age of 16, or 19 in full education.
Also
should a child under the age of 16 require sight correction, then the NHS pay towards the cost of spectacles.
At Optimeyes, we will supply standard lenses* for spectacles at the voucher value, therefore only the frame has to be paid for.
